Extra Curricular Activities

Members of staff at Coventry Preparatory School are committed to providing children with a broad range of experiences and it is our hope that children will see school as a place for leisure and fun, as well as work. Consequently there is a very full range of extra-curricular activities, both during the week and over the weekend.

During the working week all children from Reception onwards have a choice of activities to try, provided both by members of staff and outside coaches.

Saturday Sports
Saturday morning sports began in November 2002 and have since grown to the point where over 70 children come into the School to receive coaching in Rugby, Football, Swimming, Netball, Trampoline and other sports. Coffee is available for parents as well as bacon and sausage rolls.

The school’s policy is to recruit highly qualified coaches and, if at all possible, professionals or ex-professionals. The Saturday morning coaching team is led by Mr. Lau Lankilde.
